I think, that if I touched the earth,
It would crumble;
It is so sad and beautiful,
So tremulously like a dream."
Dylan Thomas
It would crumble;
It is so sad and beautiful,
So tremulously like a dream."
Dylan Thomas
I’m the completely soaked Caitlin Thomas, Dylan Thomas’ partner, who dances her story of her love and rejection. She walks creepily around the boathouse and finds the pulse of life in the heartbeat of the ground. The veins of the heart flood and empty incessantly, the sound of heavy rain and the throb of the heartbeat imbue the darkened space with a mystical revelry.
The Prologue, that was written at the end of Dylan Thomas' life, is his epilogue, his epitaph and cleverly sums up and captures the spirit of his life’s work. It contains the forces that drove all his poetry, from self-conscious genius afraid of his own ignorance to the carefree extravert worshiping the the joy of nonsensical life and the praise of the personal god of natural forces that he believed in.

work in progress for 2021
.Together with the medical artist Pascale Pollier I will adapt this performance further for a future project in 2021.
With casts of my own hands and face made by Pascale Pollier, I will create a new puppet as it were, an older version of my self. This piece of work will be a physical theatre solo performance inspired by Butoh dance. I will tell a delicate story of life and death;
Nature and destruction.
